With over two decades of experience as a lawyer, the professional journey of our Vice President of Legal Affairs (VPJ) is, in part, intertwined with the very history of NWADV.

In his distinct – and notable – tenures at the firm, Fábio Vilar was the first lawyer personally hired by Dr. Nelson Wilians upon the establishment of the office in São Paulo/SP, back in 2003.

He has a distinguished academic background, as well as significant involvement in teaching, lecturing in both undergraduate and postgraduate Law courses. He is the author of the book “Anti-Corruption Law: basic aspects and controversial issues.”

With extensive experience in Business Law, he has prominent representation before the Courts, delivering oral arguments in various Courts of Justice throughout the country, in all the Federal Regional Courts, as well as the Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Supreme Court.

Now, as VPJ for Nelson Wilians, Fábio Vilar, without neglecting his personal care of our clients’ strategic and sensitive cases, is involved in the coordination and management of our legal team throughout Brazil.
